“The sick individual finds himself at home with all other similarly sick individuals. The whole culture is geared to this kind of pathology. The result is that the average individual does not experience the separateness and isolation the fully schizophrenic person feels. He feels at ease among those who suffer from the same deformation; in fact, it is the fully sane person who feels isolated in the insane society – and he may suffer so much from the incapacity to communicate that it is he who may become psychotic.”
― Erich Fromm
When a society goes off the rails as wholly as all Western Societies have, it becomes popular to mock the sane… Yes, I really am the one who is right, and yes, everybody else is wrong. Mob Rule does not (re)define reality, but the mob always likes to believe it does… The center of the bell curve has now sagged to the point that even the legitimately retarded make better choices simply by virtue of perspective.
The more observant and intelligent you are, the sooner you start to notice… That’s why it’s been bothering me my whole life, but the few who have finally started to notice have only been coping with it a few months…
This also proves out my contempt for parties on both sides.
The Lefists are like the wind that blows. No sense getting upset with them. It’s like getting mad at a cockroach.
But, those on the right who said I was a tinfoil hat loon for everything I told them was coming, and here we are… Now they still hold me in contempt because I make them look bad! Refuse to own their shit… Would rather kill the messenger who delivered the message 30 years ago because it’s embarrassing that they keys were handed to them so long ago, and they refused it…
Should I be angry at the cockroach? Or the fools who ignored the infestation until it filled the house? And worse, once the house was filled, they still chose to step on me instead of the cockroaches!
This is why I hate Conservatives more than I hate Liberals. Not that hate is useful… But, that I can’t be friends with either of them; and there’s nothing else here.
